Waltzing Leaves is an easy to piece scrap buster! This 70" x 80" quilt features a Maple Leaf block surrounded by a Half Log Cabin block. While I used many fun fall and Halloween prints, I also used tons of regular, ordinary print fabrics in fall colors in my quilt. One background fabric gives the eye a place to rest and binds the blocks together.
This quilt was first seen on the cover of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine's October, 2009 issue. I called the quilt Waltzing Leaves and they called it Scattered Leaves. In publishing my pattern, I went back to my original name.
