Mrs. Miller's Apprentice

Mrs. Miller's Apprentice was formerly a twelve month block of the month program.  It features large and small blocks to make each month.  It also includes a fictitious story about Bess Miller, who takes little Ellie under her wing, and makes her feel welcome and loved while she teaches her to sew and quilt.  Set in the 1800s, this endearing story will have you thinking about the characters while you piece the blocks in the quilt.

Because the pattern is written as a BOM, it includes references to the fabrics I created especially for this program.  Color pages of the original fabrics are included so you can use them as reference throughout piecing and when choosing fabric substitutions.  Complete yardage is also included.

I know you will thoroughly enjoy piecing the quilt and discovering what happens between Mrs. Miller and her apprentice!
