Inspired by an old 1800's Dry Goods Mercantile store which was relocated to the Shelburne living history museum in Vermont, the prints in my Basics collection were chosen from antique quilts of the era, in simple prints that would have been used in nineteenth century daily life. There are eight colors: greens, blues, reds, plums, black, brown, and dusty, muted pinks and golds. Tans and beige prints round out the neutrals and are joined by the 12 prints in my Pam's Prairie Shirtings collection.
