Kentucky Crossroads
Kentucky Crossroads is a very unique quilt indeed! I was very lucky to find this antique quilt (the blue and white version) and was immediately intrigued by the main block. I had never seen it before! I looked it up and it's not even listed in Barbara Brackman's block encyclopedia. The original block was hand pieced and has set-in Y seams (yuck!) I drafted the block so you can make it without Y seams! Yay!
Instructions are included to make the two color version (like the blue & white antique), or the scrappy version on the cover. You will really enjoy making the Kentucky Crossroads block because it's made larger than needed and trimmed to perfection. We all love that!
All blocks use modern rotary cutting and piecing techniques.
The quilt measures 78" x 90".
