Mercantile Nine Patch is a quilt that celebrates historic reproduction prints and is made from my Prairie Dry Goods basics collection. This awesome collection has a rainbow of 44 different reproduction prints!!! It can be made from one 10 x 10 precut plus additional yardage OR totally from yardage and/or scraps. Both of the blocks Nine Patch units are made from strip sets! How easy is that?? No cutting or sewing small pieces!!! That means the quilt blocks go together pretty quick and easy.
My quilt was made with a pretty green print in the sashing and border, but it would look wonderful sashed in any color. The center is super scrappy, so any color in the sashing and border will coordinate beautifully.
