Primitive Traditions, with its stunning black border, is something to behold. The pieced pinwheel blocks are loaded with different prints and feature the Folk Art Star print in the center of every block. The Traditions blocks are made with kite units (using the Corner Beam ruler which is wonderful!) and create the secondary design making the circles appear. So cool!
This pattern would be very difficult to piece with traditional piecing methods. I don't want it to be difficult for you or me! So....I made Half Square Triangles larger and trimmed to the perfect size using the Bloc-Loc ruler. Shaded Four Patch units are made easy with the Easy Angle ruler, and Kite units are made larger, then trimmed with Deb Tucker's Corner Beam ruler. All are required but oh, so worth it!!! Making the quilt is so enjoyable with these helpful rulers!!
The quilt measures 89 x 96.
